Full-Time Position 7:30-4:00 (during the school year)  9:00-1:00 (during summer) Office Manager The school Office Manager provides integral administrative support to the overall functioning of St. Nicholas Catholic School.  This valuable role is the first face who welcomes all who enters our building and determines how to support their needs. Their duties are integrated into every aspect of the daily operations of the school, supporting students, parents, teachers and the admin team.

Requirements / Qualifications

Student Care Welcomes and takes care of questions and requests of our students, attends to sick/injured students, coordinates injury/illness communication with parents, safeguards and administers student medications with proper documentation, maintains student attendance and health records. Front Office Management Creates weekly school newsletter, completes and maintains required Diocesan reports, general school records, and files, oversees the overall business of the office and faculty workroom; maintains and manages/orders office supplies; oversees office equipment maintenance, manages paperwork distributed through and returned to the office, keeps the office, workroom, machine and paper room orderly School Registrar Handles paperwork related to registering new students, maintaining cumulative record student files and sends 8th-grade academic records to all high schools. Administrative Team Support Works with the Principal, Vice-Principal, and Business Manager to offer support to managing school-related activities. Works closely with Director of Admissions to schedule shadow and screening appointments, keeps accurate records on online applications, and documentation database Member of the Safety Team Maintains parent safe environment/fingerprinting and driver’s license/insurance works with the emergency team on disaster preparedness, maintains daily attendance of students and faculty and staff, works with the site coordinators to manage the disaster drills/real-time situation. Qualifications To Perform The Job Successfully: Education: College Degree preferred, AA acceptable. Disposition: Must be able to work with many individual’s needs in a fast pace environment. Should be detail-oriented, self-motivated with a positive friendly demeanor. Computer Skills: Imperative to be literate in the use of technology.  Preferred experience with Microsoft Office, Google Applications for Education, Workday, Powerschool.
