JOB REQUIREMENTS: Eligible candidates must meet ALL minimum experience AND education requirements included in the job description. TESTING REQUIREMENTS: ALL applicants must PASS or WAIVE the local exam in Math/English (formerly titled No Child Left Behind (NCLB)) in order to be considered for this position. The local exam consists of two sections: Math and Language Arts. All candidates must pass BOTH sections in order to be considered for this recruitment. Applicants who have acquired valid NCLB (Language Arts & Math) scores on or after 7/1/16 do NOT need to retake the assessments. This will be the ONLY testing notification. Applicants who need to take the assessment will NOT receive a phone call or email invitation. Simply arrive to the testing location on the scheduled testing date (stated above) and bring a photo ID. Late arrivals will not be admitted. Please plan on being present at the District Office for 2.75 hours for testing preparation, testing, and check out procedures.

TEST WAIVER: Applicants may waive the local exam in Math/English if they: 1) Attach a copy of Associates (or higher degree to their application)** **Transcripts (official or unofficial) are also accepted, but must clearly show applicant name, school name, and date diploma/degree was awarded. 2) Are currently employed by HUSD in one of the following classifications: *Instructional Aide (Classroom) *Instructional Aide (Severely Handicapped) *Instructional Aide (Bilingual) *Kindergarten Assistant *Intensive Behavior Intervention Assistant *Preschool Instructional Aide (Classroom) *Preschool Instructional Aide (Bilingual) *Health Instructional Aide *Site Facilitator *Classroom Activity Specialist *Education Interpreter Aide *Special Education Behavior Technician
