BASIC FUNCTION: Under the direction of the Athletic Director and the supervision of the High School Principal, provide instruction on the prevention, evaluation, management, treatment and rehabilitation of physical injuries to students and athletes engaged in various school sports and physical education activities; serve as a liaison between the students, parents, coaches and physicians in evaluation, management, care, and long-term rehabilitation of athletic injuries. |

EXAMPLE OF DUTIES: Identifies, evaluates and provides immediate first aid medical attention including taping, wrapping, bracing, strapping, and padding to prevent and/or minimize the risk of injury or re-injury. |
