REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION INCLUDE: • Any combination equivalent to: Graduation from high school and some experience in general maintenance and repair work. • Copy of valid California Driver License required and a current K-4 DMV report (dated within 7 days of job posting). • Knowledge of common tools, materials, equipment and terminology used in the general maintenance trades. • Knowledge of rules, regulations and policies pertaining to the maintenance of school facilities. • Knowledge of safe working methods and procedures. • Knowledge of basic record-keeping techniques. • Ability to perform various maintenance and repair work on District grounds, buildings, facilities and equipment. • Ability to appropriately use tools and equipment common to the maintenance trade. • Ability to climb ladders, work from heights, and lift heavy objects. ____________________________________________________________________________________
