The Success Navigator supports opportunity youth (ages 17.5 – 27) as they return to education to pursue their high school diploma. The Education Navigator supports these young adults in the development of a “Ready to Learn” mindset and provides the tactical support they require to persist in secondary education, succeed in earning their high school diploma, and bridge into postsecondary education. The Education Navigator will focus on supporting the growth of the non-cognitive skills necessary for Opportunity Youth to succeed in earning their secondary credential. The Education Navigator provides highly individualized education and career planning through regular assessment and supported reflection; academic and personal coaching/guidance through continuous contact and relationship building; and case management-like services aimed at removing/addressing barriers to education.
