Job Summary
LBUSD Student Support Services Division is accepting applications for the position of School Psychologist. Long Beach Unified School District is the fourth largest district in the State of California, serving a diverse student population. The School Psychologist works to promote academic achievement and lifelong success for students through a multi-tiered system of support. School Psychologists facilitate social, emotional and behavioral health-related support to students. LBUSD is looking for equity-focused applicants with expertise and experience in implementing trauma-informed / healing-centered, behavioral, social and emotional interventions and supports as well as conducting a variety of psychoeducational and behavioral assessments for students with suspected and documented disabilities. Requirements / Qualifications
*Pupil Personnel Services Credential in School Psychology *Hold Master’s Degree or higher. *Hold and maintain a valid Pupil Personnel Services Credential - School Psychologist *Must hold and maintain a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation as the position supports schools across the school district **A valid professional mental health license issued by the CA Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) or CA Board of Psychology is preferred but not required -LMFT, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist -LPCC, Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor -LEP, Licensed Educational Psychologist -LCSW, Licensed Clinical Social Worker -LP, Licensed Psychologist Please apply online at: LBSCHOOLS.NET/TEACH
