Summer at Saint Francis is a program under the auspices of Saint Francis High School, a Catholic, Holy Cross college preparatory school located in Mountain View, CA. Every year, Summer at Saint Francis has an approximate enrollment of 1,600 students, from grades 6-12. The High School program has a yearly enrollment of approximately 550 boys and girls, from over 40 local private and public schools, with approximately 40% of those attending Saint Francis during the regular school year. The Middle School program has a yearly enrollment of approximately 460 boys and girls, from both local private and public schools, many of them looking to apply to Saint Francis High School. The Freshman Experience program has a yearly enrollment of approximately 300 boys and girls who have been admitted/enrolled at Saint Francis High School and are oriented to the lived experience of the new high school.

Description: We’re looking for persons with content knowledge in the following subjects to be “on call” as substitutes (Spanish, History, English, Math, Science, Performing/Fine Arts, Computer Science / Digital Arts, Robotics / CAD, and a Generalist). You choose which days you wish to be on call for, we will pay you a guaranteed flat rate for those days and, should you be called upon to sub, we will pay you an additional hourly rate for teaching the subject for that day. Example: If you chose to be on call for 10 days, you would earn a minimum of $50 for simply being available**. Then, if you are called to sub for 1 day (4.25 hours), you would earn $127.50 for that single day instead of $5, making your total stipend $172.50 for those two weeks. **Restrictions apply.
