Job Summary
Under the direction of the Area Administrator/ Student Services Division, assists in the maintenance of the school health program and provides health services for special education and at-risk pupils enrolled in programs of the SLOCOE, and performs other related duties as assigned.

Required: 1. A valid California School Nurse Services Credential or a willingness and eligibility to apply for a Preliminary School Nurse Services Credential and an agreement to complete the required School Nurse Credential Program within 5 years. 2. Minimum three years nursing experience. 3. Audiometer Certificate is required as a condition of continued employment in some positions. 4. A valid California driver's license. Desirable: 1. Experience in a public school setting. 2. Experience with students with various disabilities.
If the California credential authorizing services as School Nurse has not yet been issued, and only if a job offer is made, sealed official transcripts showing a Bachelor's degree will be required for the Preliminary Credential.

- Letter(s) of Recommendation (Minimim 3 current letters of recommendation)
