Modesto City Schools is a Pre-K through 12th grade district, serving approximately 30,000 students. The District is one of the largest employers in Stanislaus County, with over 3,200 employees. It is divided into three divisions: Business Services, Educational Services and Human Resources. Six (6) months experience working with preschool age students; Graduation from high school or General Education Development (GED) Certificate or California High School Proficiency Examination (CHSPE) Certificate; Completion of forty-eight (48) units of higher education study or obtained an AA degree or successfully passed the Modesto City Schools Highly Qualified Paraprofessional Assessment Exam; Must have an Associate Teacher Permit or be enrolled in a program leading to an AA degree in Child Development.
- NCLB Compliance (To meet this requirement you MUST attach a copy of an AA degree (or higher), transcripts showing at least 48 units or more OR a copy of your certificate stating that you have met the NCLB requirements.)
- Other (Attach Associate Teacher Permit or proof of enrollment in a program leading to an Associate Teacher Permit.)
