Modesto City Schools is a Pre-K through 12th grade district, serving approximately 30,000 students. The District is one of the largest employers in Stanislaus County, with over 3,200 employees. It is divided into three divisions: Business Services, Educational Services and Human Resources. An Associate Superintendent oversees each division and a variety of programs, such as Early Childhood Education, Child Welfare & Attendance, Special Education, Nutrition Services and Transportation. Requirements / Qualifications

Two years experience working with school age students; Graduation from high school or General Education Development (GED) Certificate or California High School Proficiency Examination (CHSPE) Certificate; Completion of forty-eight (48) units of higher education study or obtained an AA degree or successfully passed the Modesto City Schools' Highly Qualified Paraprofessional Assessment Exam.

  • NCLB Compliance (Applicants must submit a copy of an AA degree or higher, transcripts showing at least 48 units OR a copy of a certificate indicating you have met the NCLB requirements.)
