Job Summary

Under the direction of an assigned Coordinator or Director, perform responsible secretarial and clerical work related to the assigned functional area; assist with administrative matters requiring knowledge of department policies and procedures, related LCOE rules and regulations, federal guidelines, and related codes and laws; organize and coordinate office activities and communications.

      The Lake County Office of Education offers the following benefits to regular classified employees: • Health and Welfare: there is an annual benefits cap of $17,500 for full-time employees; part-time employees (6+ hours per day) receive their cap at a prorated rate. Includes medical, prescription, dental, and vision for employees and all eligible dependents, based on the Tier coverage selected by the employee. Employee's out-of-pocket contribution amount will vary based on the selection; employees may purchase coverage through a 125-cafeteria plan. • Longevity Pay (Years: 5,10,15,20,25,30,35) • Paid Sick Leave (96 hours per year/prorated based on service days/hours) • Paid Vacation (15 to 27 days/Yr. depending on years of district service) • Paid Holidays (See District Calendar) • Retirement plan contributions • Employer Paid Life Insurance • Employer Paid Air Ambulance Membership
