Required: • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, business administration or a related field. • Five (5) years of supervisory experience in a facilities or maintenance and operations department. Preferred: • Certificate of completion from Coalition for Adequate School Housing (CASH) School Facilities Leadership Academy. • Three (3) years of experience working with K-12 school districts and/or public agency setting. Proof of certificates, education, etc. will be required upon recommendation for employment.

Summary Job Duties, Responsibilities & Job Requirements: Under direct supervision of the Associate Superintendent, Business Services, responsible for the Facilities, Maintenance and Operations, and Transportation departments to ensure the best educational environment possible. This includes supervision of construction projects, development and planning, facility use, energy management and related projects, maintenance operations, custodial operations, grounds operations, mechanical systems maintenance, paint department and specialized services, and related work as required. Qualified applicants must have knowledge of: Bond project management, Uniform Building Code, Uniform Plumbing Code, National Electric Code, Uniform Fire Code, Uniform Mechanical Code, OSHA General Industry Safety Orders, Architectural Barrier Laws, Title 24, and other related codes and laws. Recordkeeping, cost analysis and work order procedures. Methods, tools, and equipment used in the maintenance, grounds, and custodial area.
