Located in the heart of the San Gabriel Valley, the El Monte Union High School District was established in 1901. Its high schools include Arroyo, El Monte, Mountain View, Rosemead, South El Monte and Fernando R. Ledesma High School. EMUHSD also features the El Monte-Rosemead Adult School, one of California’s largest and most respected adult programs. EMUHSD employs over 600 certificated employees and over 500 classified employees. The professional staff provides educational programs for over 7,000 students in grades 9 through 12 and 11,000 in adult education. REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in physical education, athletic training, health, or a related field; six (6) months of paid or volunteer experience working in an athletic training environment; valid National Athletic Trainers Association Certification; valid First Aid and CPR certificate; valid California Class C Driver's License and auto insurance coverage which meets or exceeds the California legal liability insurance requirement at time of appointment and throughout employment; use of a personal automobile to conduct work.
