Good with numbers? The Lawndale Elementary School District is looking for an Accounting Coordinator to work at our District Office. This position is a 12-month, 8-hour/day position with paid holidays plus one paid vacation and sick day per month of employment (12/year). In addition, LESD pays 100% for employee health/welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, etc). Dependent coverage is at a cost to the employee. Minimum requirements: Any combination equivalent to graduation from high school including or supplemented by course work in accounting or bookkeeping and three years of increasingly responsible accounting clerical experience. Type a minimum of 40 wpm (net) from a clear copy. Required Documents: (must be attached to your EDJOIN application – pdf format works best): * Resume * Copy of high school diploma or higher degree. * 5-minute typing certificate verifying at least 40 net wpm dated within 12 months. Internet typing certificates will be accepted. Current LESD Employees (excluding Substitutes): To apply please submit a reassignment request form, high school diploma or equivalent, resume, and a 5-minute typing certificate verifying 40 net wpm or better dated within 12 months to the District Office by the closing date and time. Substitutes must apply on Edjoin. Special Note: All applicants must take and pass a multiple choice scantron test with a score of 70% or better.
