Under the direction of and reporting to the Assistant Superintendent of Business Services, the Director of Fiscal Services shall be responsible for the coordination of all general ledger accounting; mandated cost claims, budget monitoring, payroll, attendance, and related aspects of the management and operation of the Fiscal Services Department. The Director is expected to maintain a safe, caring, student-centered environment that promotes high performance and ethical standards among all fiscal services staff. The Director operates within the framework of District policies adopted by the Board of Education, the legal requirements as stipulated in the Education Code, and the rules and regulations of the State Department of Education.

Under the direction of and reporting to the Assistant Superintendent of Business Services, the Director of Fiscal Services shall be responsible for the coordination of all general ledger accounting; mandated cost claims, budget monitoring, payroll, attendance, and related aspects of the management and operation of the Fiscal Services Department. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: • A high school diploma or equivalent is required • Graduation with a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a closely related field; or any combination of training, education, and experience equivalent to graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree • Minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in accounting, finance, and business administration. • At least two years of supervisory experience LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: • Required valid California Driver's License • May require a pre-employment physical examination All of the following documents are required to accompany the application for this position: * Letter of Introduction * Three (3) Letters of Recommendation. Must be dated within the last 24 months and at least one from the direct supervisor * Resume
