ABC USD is seeking Elementary Assistant Principal applicants for 4 positions. REQUIRED CREDENTIALS: -Appropriate credential required- Valid California Multiple Subject or valid California Single Subject. -Minimum of 5 years successful teaching experience. -Administrative Credential/Certificate of Eligibility JOB DUTIES: Under the direction of the site principal, the person in this position will assist in the following: ? Assist with the implementation of Common Core State Standards, PBIS, SEL, etc. in the classrooms. ? Attend PTA/School Site Council meetings and activities. ? Chair, coordinate, and follow-up on SST and 504 meetings. ? Attend IEP meetings as the administrator designee, chair, or serve on site subcommittees as directed by the principal. ? Provide staff development opportunities, mentor certificated staff as directed by the principal, assist in planning school operations and events. ? Complete employee evaluations as directed by the principal. ? Oversee the ABC EXCELS after-school expanded learning program and serve as the main point of contact/liaison for the site: lead and facilitate regular meetings with the after school program site coordinator/manager; monitor daily program implementation; facilitate recruitment of unduplicated pupils; attend parent meetings (e.g., Student Success Plan meetings, attendance, etc.); collaborate with district staff and administrators to align program to site’s needs and assess the overall effectiveness of program implementation and develop action plans for continuous improvement ? Coordinate and oversee after-school interventions and tutoring as part of the ABC EXCELS after school program: recruit teachers and staff; collaborate with outside tutoring agencies (as needed); collect and analyze student data to help inform decisions for program implementation and need *Please see job description for additional details.

ASSIGNMENT: Appointment to this position shall become effective on or about August 1, 2024 or a mutually agreeable date. The general hours for this position are from 9:30 am - 6:00 pm. This position requires the Assistant Principal to be available on campus through the close of the ABC EXCELS program each day.
