Job Summary

Under the direction of the assigned administrator, performs a variety of technical duties involving the purchase of services, supplies and equipment for the District; obtain quotes, process bids and review purchase orders and specifications to ensure compliance with district policies, county, state and federal mandated requirements. Acts as lead support to the assigned administrator and other department staff.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS - EDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING: Thirty (30) college units in accounting, business, or related field, Certificated Professional Procurement Buyer (CPPB) or Certified Professional Procurement Officer (CPPO) certification. MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Three (3) years of increasingly responsible purchasing experience or related functions. DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE: Public school district purchasing experience.
