Education and Experience: Graduation from high school including or supplemented by courses in typing and office practices and two years clerical experience involving public contact. School office experience is desirable. Must Submit Resume Two current letters of reference (dated and signed within 1 year) Please remember to add references when filling out the application. Possess or obtain a first aid certificate issued by an authorized agency within 30 days of employment. Must type accurately at an acceptable rate of speed and pass clerical test.

Prior to final hiring and placement, the candidate must pass a Pre-Placement Physical Examination paid for by the Newhall School District. The examination may also include a urinalysis for drug screening. The candidate must also receive fingerprint clearance from the California Department of Justice.
