Modesto City Schools is a Pre-K through 12th grade district, serving approximately 30,000 students. The District is one of the largest employers in Stanislaus County, with over 3,200 employees. It is divided into three divisions: Business Services, Educational Services and Human Resources. Experience working with school age students, or verifiable units in child development or related field; High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Certificate or California High School Proficiency Examination (CHSPE) Certificate; Completion of forty-eight (48) units of higher education study or obtained an AA degree or successfully passed the Modesto City Schools Highly Qualified Paraprofessional Assessment Exam. Instructional Paraprofessional, Special Education, K12, Learning Handicapped, Severe Disorders of Language, Resource Specialist: Range 25: $19.13 - $26.94 per hour. 180 days per year. Instructional Paraprofessional, Special Education, P-12, Physically and Severely Handicapped: Range 30: $21.60 - $30.40 per hour. 180 days per year. Instructional Paraprofessional, Special Education, P-12, SH/Autism: Range 30: $21.60 - $30.40 per hour (advanced to range 34 after training). 180 days per year, plus 20 extended service days. Additional requirements: Instructional Paraprofessional, Special Education, P-12, Physically and Severely Handicapped: Valid CPR certificate; District-approved Restraint Certificate must be obtained within six (6) months of employment and renewed as required. **********$1,000 INCENTIVE BONUS********* Additional requirements: Instructional Paraprofessional, Special Education, P-6, Severely Handicapped, Autism: Valid CPR certificate.; District-approved Restraint Certificate must be obtained within six (6) months of employment and renewed as required. 20 hours of successful autism in-service training with the passage of unit tests 80% or higher, within the first three (3) months of hire. Salary increase to range 34 upon completion.**********$2,000 INCENTIVE BONUS********* - 4.00-5.99 hours ( Plus $9,648 annual District-paid contribution toward medical benefits**) - 6-8 hours (Plus $14,400 annual District-paid contribution toward medical benefits**)
