Education/Experience: Graduation from high school and one year experience at the level of an Instructional Assistant or one year experience in working with children with special needs. Licenses and other Requirements: Valid first aid certificate and CPR certificate may be required. In addition to a complete application, you must submit: Resume Two current letters of recommendation (dated and signed within 1 year) Please remember to add references to your application. *** Incomplete applications and/or applications missing the required documents will not be considered *** Must pass Proficiency Test.

Prior to final hiring and placement, the candidate must pass a Pre-Placement Physical Examination paid for by the Newhall School District. The examination may also include a urinalysis for drug screening. The candidate must also receive fingerprint clearance from the California Department of Justice.
