Requirements:
California Multiple Subject credential required authorizing service in an elementary school, with CLAD Authorization.
CBEST transcript if newly hired in the State of California or if no public school employment within the last 39 calendar months in a California public school.
Salary:
Appropriate placement on current Teachers' Salary Schedule. Credit may be given for the immediate preceding nine years prior to being hired for verified teaching experience requiring a teaching credential.

Due to the fact this position requires contact with students during the course of employment; the qualified applicant being recommended for this position will be required to obtain fingerprint clearance prior to beginning employment. This clearance requires submitting a processing fee for Live Scan to meet the pre-employment requirements and has an estimated time line for clearance of at least 72 hours.

Currently, the District has over 7,000 students in its K-12 program and runs an extensive Adult School program. There are seven unique elementary schools, all have been designated by the State of California as Distinguished Schools, a school for the orthopedically handicapped, an intermediate school, a comprehensive high school, and a continuation school.
