1. Must possess a Valid California Teaching Credential (Multiple Subject, Single Subject, or Education Specialist). 2. Must possess CLAD, BCLAD, or English Language Learner Authorization. 3. Current experience teaching secondary students. (Preferred) 4. Demonstrate ability to work collaboratively with site teachers, administrators, and parents. 5. Knowledge of and proficiency in a variety of instructional strategies (reading, writing, literacy, and/or mathematics). 6. Experience in the use of technology in instructional and data management. 7. A willingness to further personal instructional knowledge by attending AVID specific instructional trainings.
