Job Summary

Under the general supervision of the Superintendent, provides leadership and administers Business Services, Fiscal Services, Nutrition Services and Facilities, Maintenance & Operations. Serves as the Chief Business Officer, a member of the Superintendent’s Cabinet, and as an administrative officer of the district in the absence of the Superintendent.

The Claremont Unified School District is located in Southern California approximately 35 miles east of Los Angeles. The community is known for the Claremont Colleges and has a strong working relationship with these institutions. Currently, the District has over 7,000 students in its K-12 program and runs an extensive Adult School program. There are seven unique elementary schools, a school for the orthopedically handicapped, an intermediate school, a comprehensive high school, and a continuation school. All Claremont elementary schools are designated by the State of California as Distinguished Schools. Claremont High School is a National Blue Ribbon Award Winner and a California Distinguished School.
