Job Summary
The job of Special Education Behavior Intervention Assistant is done for the purpose/s of assisting (under direct supervision) in the supervision and instruction of special education students; relieving teachers of routine clerical tasks; and assisting students by providing for special health care needs. The Special Education Behavior Intervention Assistant reports directly to the special education services department.

- completed classified employment application - resume - letter of introduction -Associate’s Degree or higher or 48 or more eligible units of coursework at a recognized college or university -At least two years of behavior management experience, preferably with students with learning/emotional/mental disabilities. - CPR, First Aid and Handle with Care Training certificates
