Applicants must satisfy the paraprofessional requirements of the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA): Applicants must hold a US high school diploma, or equivalent, and meet one of the three following requirements: 1) Completed 48-semester units at an institution of higher education; 2) Obtained an Associate's degree (or higher); 3) Successful completion of the ICOE Paraprofessional exam, previously administered by ICOE, in (4 parts) which include; basic reading, writing, mathematics skills and the ability to assist with instruction (essay). ALL APPLICANTS who hold a Foreign high school diploma or equivalent must automatically take the paraprofessional exam. The exam will be provided by ICOE to those who do not meet the criteria listed. Only completely filled applications will be considered. All fields in the work experience section must be completed. A resume will not be accepted in lieu and your application will be disqualified. Mark fields that are “not applicable” as “N/A”.
