Job Summary
Job Summary
Under general supervision to supervise the activities of students in and about a high school campus; to patrol hallways, restrooms, and other areas of high school campus; to respond to unauthorized activities, and to do related work as required. Checks for unauthorized persons on school grounds, escorts them off campus, or to designated areas within campus, and is on the alert for disorderly conduct by students; tactfully and diplomatically deals with potential misconduct by students; reports incidents that are beyond designated authority to appropriate assistant principal.
Requirements / Qualifications
Previous experience involved in working with youth desired. Ability to deal effectively and tactfully with middle and high school students and members of the public from diverse cultural backgrounds on a variety of matters. Ability to work independently.
