Shift: 8 hours/day, likely 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday Start Date: 8/21/23 (Short Term position due to grant-funded through 6/30/27) Sites: District Wide/Community Schools Interview may be 7/26/23 or later. Salary placements are usually made at the beginning of the salary range for candidates that are not currently employed by Eureka City Schools.
Requirements / Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent Valid California Driver's License (Copy taken at time of hire) DOJ/FBI Fingerprint Clearance (upon offer and acceptance of position) Paraprofesssional Certificate* or equivalent: two years of college (48 units) or AA Degree or higher *Paraprofessional Testing: The paraprofessional test is offered through HCOE and can be reserved and paid for online. Here is a link to the booking system: https://hcoe.org/paraprofessional-exam/ . The test is proctored weekly on Tuesdays at 10 and the cost of the test is $7.00. Once you pass, they will give you a card.
