SEEKING INNOVATIVE, FORWARD-THINKING LEADERS Basic Functions: Under direction of the Superintendent, the Assistant Superintendent, Human Resources, is a member of the Superintendent's Cabinet and is responsible for the management of the Human Resources Department. The Assistant Superintendent, Human Resources, has the primary responsibility in establishing criteria and recommending employment, assignments, and dismissal of personnel in cooperation with other Administrators. The Assistant Superintendent, Human Resources, will maintain a staff relationship with the principals, all schools, and various department heads comprising the Superintendent's Cabinet.
Requirements / Qualifications
Qualifications: Education: • Possession of Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university is required; • Possession of Ed. D. or Ph. D. is preferred; • Valid Administrative Services Credential is required; • Valid Clear Multiple, Single Teaching or Pupil Personnel Services Credential is required. Experience: • Three years of successful teaching experience, required; • Three years of successful administrative experience, required; • District level experience highly desirable; • Negotiations experience preferred; • Human Resources experience highly desirable; • Demonstrated competence in Certificated and Classified Personnel. Licenses: • Possession of a valid California Driver License and a private vehicle.
