The Dinuba Unified School District teacher, under the direct supervision of the Site Principal plans and supervises work of assigned classified or student personnel. An elementary teacher creates a flexible elementary grade program and a classroom environment favorable to learning and personal growth; to establish effective rapport with pupils; to motivate pupils to develop skills, attitudes, and knowledge needed to provide a good foundation for upper elementary grade education, in accordance to each pupil's ability; to establish productive and positive relationships with parents and with other staff members.
Requirements / Qualifications
1. Possess valid Multiple Subject, General, Standard Elementary or other credential authorizing service at the elementary level. 2. Appropriate documentation authorizing instruction to English language learners 3. Two to three years of successful elementary and/or preschool Classroom experience is preferred. TK Requirements: • At least 24 units in early childhood education, or childhood development, or both • Professional experience in a classroom setting with preschool age children comparable to the 24 units of education described in bullet 1 (comparability determined by the local employing agency) • Child Development Teacher issued by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing. *The above bullet points must be completed by August 1, 2023
