The Fullerton School District Classified Human Resources is hosting an Instructional Assistant Job Fair from 8:00am to 3:00pm at the Fullerton School District Main office located at 1401 W. Valencia Drive, Fullerton California 92833. All our Instructional Assistant positions and our Playground Supervisor position, along with the Job Descriptions, are located on our Employment Opportunities page and you can save time by applying online before the Job Fair for these positions. On-site testing will be available for all our Instructional Assistant and Playground Supervisor Positions. The Instructional Assistant exam process can take between two to four hours (depending on the position(s) you are interested in. Test taking tips can be found on our Classified Human Resources Page (please visit fullertonsd.org) and you are encouraged to review those before coming to the Fair and testing. For those interested in our Playground Supervisor position, the required test will be available to take and you will have up to 20 minutes to complete (there are no test taking tips for this test). Please note that a government-issued ID will be required to test. Candidates who pass the required test(s) may be invited to do a Recorded Interview for our hiring managers to view in the weeks to come or have an in person interview should the hiring managers be available at that time. For those who are unable to stay for either type of interview, more information will come to you about interviews in the weeks following the Fair. The Instructional Assistant Job Fair will be for the following positions and please note the hours these positions typically work: *Instructional Assistant/Expanded Learning (After School Program aides): M,T,Th,F: 2:30pm-6:00pm; W: 12:30pm-6:00pm *Instructional Assistant/General Education (Classroom aids): Preschool aids scheduled Monday-Friday 7:45am-11:45am or 11:45am-3:15pm \ IA/General Education aides working with school-aged children scheduled Monday-Friday between the hours of 8:00am-11:15am or 12:00pm-4:30pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Wednesday is an early dismissal day for some sites. *Instructional Assistant/Recreation (PE Aides): Scheduled during school hours of 7:30am-4:30pm three (3) days a week and hours/days vary depending on school site needs *Instructional Assistant/Special Education I (Special Education Classroom Aides): M-F during school hours 8:00am-11:30am or 11:30am-3:00pm (15 to 17.5 hrs/week; a few 6 hours/day) *Instructional Assistant/Special Education II (Special Education Classroom Aides): Scheduled M-F during school hours of 7:30am-3:30pm (3 to 6 hrs daily) *Playground Supervisor: Position typically works only 1-2 hours/daily during the school year between the hours of 7:30am - 2:00pm
