This assignment is for the Outreach Department working with Splash Lab, Green Machine at ECREC (East County Regional Educational Center).This position performs a variety of office, data entry, report preparation, student and outdoor education program support for the Outdoor Education program staff.</p> <p>This position is part-time and will offer the classified benefits package, which includes medical, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage, and will participate in the CalPERS state retirement system. </p> <p>Anticipated start date is September 1, 2023.</p>

This position requires any combination of education and experience equivalent to two (2) years of experience in an office support role involving the use of all office technologies to maintain records and prepare reports, and experience working with large and small groups of students in outdoor settings. Coursework in geology, biology, botany or environmental science preferred. Certificates and Licenses: • Valid California Driver License • Valid First Aid and CPR certification required at the time of appointment.
To be considered for this position, you must individually attach the following items to your completed EDJOIN Application: • Resume, detailing education and experience • Letter of Introduction • Copies of transcripts showing related college coursework • Copy of First Aid and CPR certification The results of this recruitment will be used to establish an eligibility list to fill the current vacancy and any other vacancies in this classification for the next six (6) months, or until the list is exhausted.
