Job Summary

The job of Director of Transportation was established for the purpose/s of Planning, organizing and supervising the transportation program of the district under the direction of the Chief Business Officer. To supervise a staff of bus drivers and mechanics; to ensure that buses are referred to appropriate maintenance personnel; to supervise the bus garage and mechanics; to provide for students, staff, and community safety by ensuring that all inspections are current, that all recommendations have been implemented, and that all classified employees have current certifications and/or training as required by relevant laws, codes, and regulations.

Certificates & Licenses: Class B Driver's License with passenger endorsement School Bus Certificate Current medical card Current CPR/First Aid Certifications Credential from School Bus Driver Instructor's Academy Requirements for applying:
