Description: The Vice Principal/Assistant Site Director will support the Prinicipal/Site Director in campus operations, instructional programs, student recruiting, professional development, parent organization, and faculty and student culture. The VP/Assist Site Director at Aspen Ridge also has an integral part in future strategic planning for this new charter school (opened in fall 2021). Aspen Ridge is school number 3 in the Aspen Public Schools charter network, serving students 7-12 in the center of Fresno, California. For the 2023-24 school year, we project a student body of 235 students. Come join our team! The VP/Assistant Director will also interact with a wide range of education partners and will represent the school locally. Duties: The VP/Assistant Site Director is an essential part of our organization! On a daily basis, they work collaboratively with fellow staff members to provide better opportunities for students in the Fresno Area. In conjunction with the school site leadership team, the VP/Assistant Director will Lead/Manage/Support in all key areas, including the Instructional Program; operations; professional development and faculty culture; parent involvement; and student culture. INSTRUCTIONAL PROGRAM All components of the instructional program, including intervention, special education, and professional development opportunities Ensure that student transcripts are accurately updated and readily available Schedule and lead info/education nights for students and families Ensure that formative data is driving instructional decision-making to promote growth for all students OPERATIONS Develop a plan for administering all required assessments and ensure proper and timely reporting of assessment data SBAC process, including ELPAC testing; plan for physical fitness testing; plan for SBAC testing Manage and communicate all academic and events calendars Come find us at the FPU job fair on March 21, 2023!
