The Fremont Unified School District (FUSD) is made up of 44 schools serving preschool-12th grade with approximately 33,000 students in grades TK-12. The District Office hosts twenty-three district level departments that serve the school sites. School sites feature many facility upgrades with vibrant libraries due to the community support of the Measure E bond. The following employment procedures will be followed:
1. Hiring staff review applications on file of those who possess the appropriate credential for the assignment.
2. Applicants for the specific assignments will be contacted for a scheduled interview.
3. Hiring staff will recommend candidates to Human Resources.
4. Human Resources staff will offer contracts after review of applicant's qualifications.
5. Applicants will report to Human Resources to complete employment papers, sign contract, and receive authorization documents to report to work.
Since referral and hiring are done by Human Resources, applicants should not contact the department directly to request employment.
