Full job description is available from the District Office Under the direction of the Pre School Teacher and Site Supervisor, to perform a variety of child development activities to assist in the conduct of appropriate learning experiences and in maintaining proper school and classroom environment. (position based on California State Preschool Grant funding)
Requirements / Qualifications
• Possession of California Child Development Permit • Minimum of 12 post high school semester units in Child Development • Pediatric CPR and First Aid training certificate or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire • Valid California Drivers License

Qualified candidates must submit an application with a copy of Child Development Permit or college transcript verifying 12 semester units in Child Development.
• Work year: 182 days/year, 5 days/week
• Tentative Work Schedule: 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
• Salary: Step 1: $17.59/hour – Step 6: $20.69/hour
• Kaiser medical & vision insurance provided to employee only; Dental insurance provided to dependents. $46/monthly.
Pre-Employment Physical, Tuberculosis Clearance and Fingerprint Clearance by the California Department of Justice are conditions for this position.
