Job Summary
The Assistant Principal assists in administering the comprehensive 9-12 high school program in accordance with state, county and district regulations, policies and procedures. Duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: • Establishing an atmosphere conducive to learning for all students • Setting high expectations for faculty, staff and students • Promoting professional growth for all staff • Setting school goals • Planning, coordinating, implementing and evaluating school programs • Building parent and community involvement • Maintaining sound relations with the District Office • Assisting in the selection and assignment of staff • Improvement of classroom instruction • Implementation of school priorities
