Required Qualifications : -Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university -Valid California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential with BCLAD (Bilingual Cross-cultural Language and Academic Development) certification in Chinese (Mandarin), or working towards BCLAD certification. A CTC approved Emergency Authorization is also acceptable. -Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of students, colleagues and families -Ability to collaborate with grade level team and English Literacy teachers -Experience with current educational technology

Preferred Qualifications: - Previous teaching experience in Bilingual or Dual Language Settings - Successful elementary teaching experience within the last 3 years in the relevant grade level or subject area - Experience with project-based learning, social-emotional learning, and differentiated learning - In depth understanding of the Common Core State Standards - Possess humility, strong work ethics, and a solution-oriented mindset - Flexibility to adapt and change; ability to strive in a fast paced dynamic working environment - Dedicated to own professional growth, including learning current and innovative teaching practices and technology
