Job Summary
Under the direction of the Lead High School Counselor, the High School Counselor shall provide counseling and guidance services to students; assist in the management of the Counseling Services Program; identify and counsel students with special needs and behavioral, social and school adjustment problems; make referrals to other community resources, support groups and social service agencies as appropriate.

Highlands Community Charter School is a K-12 Charter serving Adult students 22 years of age and older. Please read the High School Counselor job description thoroughly before applying to the position. In order to be considered for the position, please attach the following: 1. Proof of Bachelor's Degree in Counseling, Psychology, or related field. 2. Valid Pupil Personnel Services Credential with academic school counseling emphasis is preferred. 3. Marriage and Family Therapy Certificate is required if applicant does not possess a PPS Credential. 4. Minimum of Two (2) years employable experience working as a counselor 5. Possession of Valid Driver's License
