This posting is intended to establish an eligibility pool of applicants for anticipated Elementary School Teacher openings for the 2023-2024 school year. La Mesa-Spring Valley Schools serves 16 elementary schools, 3 academies, and a blended learning program (home school/virtual learning), for which we anticipate openings for self-contained K-6th grade classroom teachers.

Valid California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential with EL Authorization/CLAD or appropriate equivalent credential(s) and authorization(s) for assignment.

MUST ATTACH THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS TO YOUR APPLICATION: - Cover Letter/Letter of Introduction (not more than 1500 words). - Resume (not more than two pages) - 2 Letters of reference/recommendation (written within the last 12 months) - Copy of credential(s) (CA CTC website screenshot is acceptable) - Copy of transcripts (official transcripts will be requested if job offer is made) Please note; if selected, you will need to submit fingerprints for a background check/clearance prior to beginning employment.
