Baker Valley Unified School District is located in heart of the Mojave Desert. Situated along I-15 between Barstow, CA and Las Vegas, NV, we served students in grades Pre-K-12. The administration and staff strive to provide students with a world-class education to ensure all students are ready to face the college and workforce demands of the 21st Century. Total enrolled for the district is about 125 students, which results in one of the lowest students to teacher ratios in the State of California.

Under general supervision, cleans classrooms, restrooms, offices, and related facilities; sweeps, mops, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floors; vacuums and washes rugs and carpets; dusts and polishes furniture and woodwork; empties and cleans waste receptacles; refills soap, towel and tissue dispensers; washes windows, walls, tables and benches; operates and adjusts heating and ventilating equipment; assists in moving and arranging furniture and equipment, and setting up buildings and rooms for meetings or special events; makes minor non-technical repairs; unlocks and locks doors and gates; performs special custodial work upon request, assists in the thorough cleaning and restoration. Also, cleans outside facilities, including walkways, buildings, etc. May be involved in playground supervision. Performs other related duties as required.
Requirements / Qualifications
Required: Must pass the District Required Drug Test; and the State of California fingerprint check Licenses: A valid California Motor Vehicle Operator’s License
