High School diploma or equivalent. Junior College and/or Vocational Nursing Diploma. California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) certificate and CPR required.
NOTE: Online courses are NOT acceptable for CPR

- CPR/First Aid Certification (No Online Courses Accepted)
- Copy of Transcript (High School Transcripts) OR Proof of HS Graduation (High School Diploma, GED, Bachelors' Degree)

Educational requirements: Graduation from an accredited vocational nursing program or junior college required. Bachelors Degree preferred.
Experience requirements: Two (2) years acute nursing experience and involvement with public contact, and working with children with special needs in a school setting preferred. May have to take a district general knowledge test and a 30 wpm typing test.
