Substitute teachers work on an on-call or as-needed basis. In the absence of the classroom teacher, the substitute teacher provides instruction, encourages student progress, and manages the learning environment. The substitute performs other tasks and duties requested by the classroom teacher.

Conferral of BA / BS Degree. Must have basic skills qualification. This may be met by CBEST test, qualifying SAT or ACT scores, or by coursework.
