Under the general supervision of the principal. Work with teacher to help with instruction for students in academic and non-academic areas. Understanding of and experience working with English Learners (especially those with no or limited English skills). Our team is looking for a colleague who is positive, kind, happy, energetic, and an outgoing people person who conducts themselves professionally in any situation. Has the ability and experience to work constructively with younger children. Must be comfortable working 1:1 with students or in small groups. Must have strong, positive behavior management skills (yard duty), work well with minimum supervision, be proactive, a self- starter, flexible and solution focused. Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Offers of employment are subject to: • Fingerprint clearance • Negative TB clearance • Post Offer/Pre-Placement physical exam (POPP) • Able to lift, carry, push, pull or exert fifty (50) pounds of force • Current CPR and First Aid certificates required within two months • Proof of COVID-19 vaccinations
