Bus Driver Trainee Program Requirements: • Proof of HS Graduation: Diploma or Equivalent (transcripts in lieu of certificate/diploma ok) • Must be at least 18 years of age • Must have Clean criminal background • Must have valid California Drivers License • Must have clean driving record with no DUI's • Classroom or BTW Training time will not be paid • Must be able to attend a minimum of 40 hours training program Once licensed and certified as a School Bus Driver, you may apply for a salaried and fully benefited position with our district. Starting hourly pay of $19.42/hr * Candidates are responsible for state licensing and certification fees. • Commercial Drivers License $ 85.00 • Medical DOT Physical $ 65.00 • CHP Fingerprint $57.00 • Red Cross certified CPR / First Aid Certificate $115.00
