Brief Description of Position: 1. Prepares and/or coordinates the preparation and distribution of public agendas for the meetings of the Board of Trustees; supervises the arrangements for meetings and distributes board meeting packets. 2. Serves as recording secretary at Board meetings; take notes and prepares the official minutes for appropriate review and distribution; obtains Board signatures on documents as needed; maintains official minutes of Board meetings 3. Gathers agenda items from Superintendent and other administrators and supervises the development of board annotations. 4. Prepares paperwork for Student Expulsion Hearings, attends hearings, and completes follow-up correspondence. 5. Processes all Inter-district Attendance Requests. 6. Assist with secretarial responsibilities, projects and administrative tasks for Classified Managers 7. Manage and organize schedules, appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements for the Superintendent and Board members, including fiscal accounts and documents. 8. Maintains fiscal accounts and documents for the Superintendent and Board Members. 9. Flexible schedule is required and shall include evening events. 10. Other related duties as assigned
