Job Summary
The Library Technician provides support to students in various settings (including classrooms and the library) directly related to literacy skill development, intervention and enrichment with input and direction from teachers. Will open and close the Library for business/activities at the specified school site, keeping all books and materials available during specified times as assigned by the Site Administrator. Will provide and communicate with teachers on the selection of appropriate books for the requirements of the core classes. School Days Only, Monday-Friday,5.5 hours/day, 8:00am-1:30pm Start Date: ASAP

Library Technician-One to three years working in school libraries preferred. Equivalent to completion of 12th grade required. Must be knowledgeable in basic research methods. Must have a valid California driver's license, pass fingerprint clearance, pass pre-employment physical, and submit evidence of negative tuberculosis test upon hire.
