Job Summary
This position will oversee and coach the dance team(s). This person will be responsible for the audition process including but not limited to checking and assessing student eligibility, skill level, and appropriate permissions. During the year, the coach will: - Choreograph and manage the routines and trainings - Work with the facilities manager & Dance Advisor to schedule practices and performances - Work with the Dance Advisor and coordinate travel and fundraising for competitions and costumes - Attend camps during the summer. He/She needs to be someone who can communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff. Needs to know the school’s discipline policies and maintain positive learning environment for students. Two years of competition dance experience preferred.

Coaches are paid the 1/3 of the yearly stipend amount at the conclusion of each of the coaching seasons: Fall, Winter and Spring. This will be for the 22-23 school year.

All coaches are required to get fingerprint clearance from DOJ and FBI, as well as TB clearance PRIOR to starting coaching. Coaches have 30 days to complete all required certifications including (but not limited to) CPR/First Aid certification, NFHS - Fundamentals of Coaching Certification, Concussion, Sudden Cardiac Arrest, and Keenan Safety Training
