APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS: Per Executive Order N-3-22 to provide immediate, short term solutions to address educator shortages due to the COVID-19 pandemic and recent Omicron surge. Many of the eligibility requirements for an emergency substitute teaching permit has been suspended. Temporary Certificates may now be issued to applicants with a bachelor's degree and background check. Temporary Certificates will expire on March 31, 2022 per Gov. Newsom Executive Order N-3-22. To apply please submit the following at www.edjoin.org: - Unofficial Transcripts with bachelor's conferral date from a regionally accredited four-year college or university. - Current resume - Letter of interest
