POSITION DESCRIPTION: The job of Software Developer is done for the purpose(s) of project planning; performing system analysis, design and development; writing documentation; and configuration management. Experience in developing software applications using one or more programming language(s); experience with rapid application development techniques desired. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Job related experience is required. A minimum of two-years of full-time journeyman level experience in 3GL programming, systems analysis and design, and implementation of programs utilizing database management techniques. Experience should reflect utilization of skills, knowledge, and ability requirements described above. REQUIRED EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent. Associate’s degree from a college/university with emphasis in Management Information Systems (MIS) or Computer Science (CS).
These documents are required upon hire: Valid CA Driver's License, physical (if required), proof of required education, TB, Fingerprint clearance, and proof of COVID-19 vaccination may be required as per Public Health Order.
