EdJoin Substitute Teacher application and the following documents:
All required documents must be clearly scanned and attached to your EdJoin application in PDF. format. Only complete applications with required materials will be considered. Once you have submitted your application, please check your email for the automated EdJoin email verifying that your application had been submitted correctly. - Copy of Transcript (at minimum conferred Bachelor's degree)
- Credential Copy (To obtain your Emergency 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permit, please make an appointment with the Orange County Department of Education 714-966-4000)
- Letter(s) of Recommendation (or Character Reference - Minimum of three recent letters. Recent is defined as within the last two years. Attachments added after the closing date will not be considered and applications received without a signature will automatically be rejected.)

All substitute teachers will need to obtain fingerprint clearance through the Orange County Department of Education. If you have not done so already, you may call 714-966-4306 to make an appointment.
Applications will be reviewed after the posting date closes and applicants will then be notified by email the next step of the hiring process.
